Big South Challenge - Runner Up

The Holly Springs (2) Hawks fell a little short today, losing to the NC Cleveland Indians (11), to get the second-place spot for the tournaments. The Hawks started out on Saturday, with a win over the Randolph Rattlers (12) 8 to 7, and a loss to the Wayne Mavericks (15) 9 to 11. On Sunday, the Hawks played through the losers bracket, starting at 9:00am. They beat the Fuquay Predators (23) 8 to 3 at 1:00pm, the Wayne Mavericks 12 to 7, and lost in the finals at 5:00pm to the NC Cleveland Indians 1 to 9. Hawks USSSA ranking
